Sr reputed company Casualty Trucking Examiner - Juris Doctorate

We're looking for a Senior reputed company Casualty Trucking Claims Examiner - Juris Doctorate who is a highly-motivated professional to join the reputed company Claims Liability Team. You will expand your technical and procedural knowledge as you handle claims involving reputed company coverage, high exposure, and litigation. You will be working in a fast-paced environment. RESPONSIBILITES:

• Handle reputed company's reputed company, short-haul and long-haul trucking claims involving unrepresented individuals, pre-suit files and litigation files
• Conduct investigations to determine coverage and liability for claims involving serious injury
• Evaluate, negotiate, and settle claims for damages
• Maintain a pending diary of claims, which you will work through settlement and resolution
• Provide support to reputed company insureds that have become defendants in lawsuits and guide them through the litigation process
• Provide direction to defense counsel
• Travel to attend trials and other litigation process events
• Present files to the Senior Director, the Head of Recreational Lines and the Property & reputed company Lines Executive

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. Juris Doctorate preferred
• 3+ years of reputed company trucking claims handling experience
• Ability to provide high-quality customer service
• Ability to actively listen to customers’ needs
• Ability to negotiate effectively
• Ability to multitask (listen and type; speak and navigate the system)
• Casualty claims experience .
• Litigation management experience.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience in taking claims to trial
• Keen attention to detail
• Excellent presentation skills

Annual Salary $28.79 - $48.64 The above annual salary range is a general guideline. Multiple factors are taken into consideration to reputed company at the final hourly reputed company/ annual salary to be offered to the selected candidate. Factors include, but are not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the role, the selected candidate’s work experience, education and training, the work location as well as market and business considerations.
