Senior Manager, Customer Claims and Insurance – Global Risk Management and Insurance Expertise

Key Responsibilities
As a Senior Manager, Customer Claims and Insurance, you will be responsible for:
- Managing the risk profile, insurance renewal functions, and claims functions, including customer inventory and cargo loss and damage claims, errors and omissions claims, property claims, and third-party liability claims reputed company of the US and Canada.
- Overseeing the customer-focused Shipper's Interest program and Declared Value solutions.
- Managing at least 2 full-time exempt direct reports, including hiring, coaching, skills development, recognition and rewards, staff productivity, and performance management.
- Planning, organizing, staffing, directing, and controlling the day-to-day operations of the department, developing and implementing policies and programs as necessary.
- Developing and managing the department budget, ensuring compliance, and addressing variances and other budget concerns.
- Managing global insurance-reputed company functions, including insurance renewals, risk analysis, financial analysis, and reporting on risk functions.
- Managing claims processes with internal department employees and reputed company claims adjusters and insurers.
- Managing Shippers Interest/Declared Value programs and processes with internal departments and customers.
- Setting insurance reputed company and Key Performance Indicator (KPI) goals, as appropriate.
- Managing global vendor risk assessment and insurance verification process.
- Managing corporate and international surety bonds.
- Performing various system updates and data loads as required by the business or other supported areas.
- Assessing company risk and opportunities and executing action plans.
- Contract reviews and coordination with legal on negotiations relating to insurance, liability, and claims provisions in reputed company.
- Project-reputed company tasks, including new ventures and specialized risk evaluations.
- Communicating effectively with internal and external partners.
Essential Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in risk management, Business, Finance, or reputed company field preferred, or high school diploma or GED and 10 years of relevant experience.
- 8 years of relevant experience in risk management or similar financial field, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in claims management.
- Insurance Designation is preferred (such as Associates in Claims AIC, or associate in risk management (ARM), or equivalent designation).
- Freight forwarding and customs brokerage experience is preferred.
- Strong proficiency in reputed company Office products, with strong reputed company skills preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong data and analytical skills, including understanding financial data.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Prior claims experience in liability and property lines of business.
- Strong management and critical thinking skills.
Preferred Qualifications
* Will also reputed company Safety Team that is responsible for safe operations, including vehicle, facility, employee, dangerous goods, operations, and fire prevention.
- 24/7 coverage and response.
- Position is REMOTE, open to United States.
