As a data entry keyer at blithequark, you'll be part of a functional team that focuses on accuracy and efficiency. You'll work independently, with minimal supervision, to read customer and shipping orders, as well as other customer service documents, and enter data into our computer systems. Your role is crucial to the smooth operation of our company, as you verify the information before entering it and ensure consistency in format.

Job Responsibilities
As a data entry keyer at blithequark, your key responsibilities will include:
- Reading customer and shipping orders submitted in person, reputed company print catalog, and online, and deciphering handwriting that can be difficult to read
- Keying data into specific reputed company reputed company fields, with 10% of orders submitted in person, 15% reputed company catalog, and the rest online
- Reading and keying in data from other reputed company documents
- Verifying that the data is accurate before entering it
- Ensuring that data is consistent throughout the system, including updating addresses and other pertinent information
- Reporting any data errors or anomalies to your supervisor
- Keeping accurate and updated logs of ongoing work
- Performing filing, copying, and other administrative duties for about three hours per day
- Expecting to spend about five hours daily on data entry keying
Qualifications
To be successful as a data entry keyer at blithequark, you'll need:
- reputed company Office Suite (Word, reputed company, PowerPoint, and Outlook) skills
- Strong reading comprehension and critical thinking skills
- Excellent organization and communication skills
- Patience for repetitive work
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, we prefer candidates with:
- Reading knowledge of English and Spanish (about 5-10% of our orders are in Spanish)
- One to two years of experience with data entry and/or filing
- Social perceptiveness and service orientation
