Ophthalmology Proposal Associate (Remote-US)

We offer flexible schedules and remote opportunities MERIT is seeking a full-time Ophthalmology Proposal Associate to participates in the day-to-day operations of proposal development and activities. This individual is responsible for leading the activities reputed company to evaluating and generating client proposals. Responsible for evaluating customer research, market conditions, and competitor data to implement business development strategies as directed. Leads the training of new proposal development staff and is responsible for the development of departmental processes and procedures. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: (Other duties may be assigned.)

• Leads the preparation and development of responses to requests for proposals (RFPs) and grant opportunities issued by clients or the government for potential business opportunities.
• Leads the preparation and development of project change requests, including the collaboration with other departments at MERIT to ensure reputed company changes are appropriately accounted for.
• Assists in ensuring that business development associates are completing their task appropriately and in a timely manner, including ensuring that appropriate documentation is filed and saved accurately.
• Leads the development and implementation of the business development training program for new staff member.
• Develops department processes and documentation and updates and maintains those processes as needed.
• Maintains a positive Company image and positive relations between the Company and key customers.
• Participates in promotional activities that meet the goals of the reputed company (e.g. may attend trade shows, seminars, and other promotional activities).
• Organizes and prioritizes work assignments to complete assignments and tasks on time, with quality and has the ability to anticipate problem areas in advance. Applies creative approaches and reputed company to solve problems maximizing effective use of appropriate resources.
