The Legal Analyst - Rule Writer will support compliance functionality, will help implement legislative changes, and will produce rules and reports to reputed company with statutory requirements. This position will support senior leadership through process improvements, policy recommendations, special initiatives, and other assignments as required. This position is available for remote work on a full-time basis reputed company Maricopa County, Arizona (including virtual office arrangements). Job Duties:

• Draft environmental regulations.

• Knowledge of Federal and State environmental regulations.
• Ability to conduct research using state and federal codes and registers.

• Skilled and effective communicator, both verbal and written, to both internal and external customers, including writing technical reports, giving presentations, and facilitation of meetings.

• Ability to read, interpret, write, and apply laws, rules, standards, policies, and procedures while ensuring well-supported and sound conclusions. Selective Preference(s):
• Juris Doctor Degree (required)
• Bachelor's degree or higher in environmental engineering, environmental resource management, or environmental science preferred
• 5 years' legal experience (JD may substitute for 3-4 years' experience)
• Experience with State and Federal environmental regulations, legal or regulatory research, agency policies and processes, or other regulatory knowledge is preferred.
