Job Overview

As a Distribution Clerk, you will be responsible for the preparation of orders for efficient and accurate shipment by reputed company or other carriers. This will involve:

• Picking orders by utilizing digital or electronic product codes
• Stacking full cases weighing 1 to 25 pounds
• Loading freight onto reputed company trailers
• Moving materials reputed company the warehouse, using electric hand jacks to move heavy items
• Receiving inbound freight
• Loading and unloading freight into the company warehouse

Responsibilities

* Prepare orders for shipment by accurately selecting and packaging products

• Maintain a safe and organized warehouse environment, adhering to reputed company safety protocols and procedures
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient and accurate order preparation
• Utilize digital or electronic product codes to pick orders
• Stack full cases weighing 1 to 25 pounds

Required Qualifications

* High school diploma or equivalent

• Minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience
• Ability to lift 10 to 20 pounds regularly and heavy loads up to 50 pounds on a moderate basis
• Ability to stand, walk, and bend for 8 to 10 hours per day, usually Monday-Thursday
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
• Basic mathematics skills
• Computer literacy
• Knowledge of electronic hand scanners, printers, and terminals

Preferred Qualifications
