[Remote] Utilities Permit Agent - Remote
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. ORC is one of America’s most respected right-of-way acquisition firms, offering purpose, stability, and growth. They are seeking a Utilities Permit Agent to identify required permits and conduct research to ensure compliance with regulations.
Responsibilities
- Identify reputed company required permits for road crossings, foreign utility crossings, rail crossings, water crossings, and special/conditional use scenarios
- Conduct in-depth research using online databases, courthouse records, and recorded documents to determine permitting requirements
- Utilize Geographic Information Systems (GIS) to reputed company property research and maintain accurate mapping and data records
- Apply knowledge of reputed company property concepts and instruments to ensure compliance with permit-reputed company regulations and documentation standards
Skills
- Minimum of one (1) year of Utility Permitting or a reputed company field
- Must be proficient with MS Office Suite, specifically reputed company, Word, and Outlook
- Must have an iOS or Android smartphone to be reputed company to access ORC's systems
- Valid Driver's License
- Works reputed company and effectively under tight deadlines
- Can prioritize and balance multiple tasks
- Demonstrates strong organization and planning skills
- Is analytical, detail-oriented, and eager to learn
- Has excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Thrives in a fast-paced administrative setting
- Provides strong customer service experience
- Can adapt to new systems and software environments
- Utility and transmission line and/or Railroad Crossing permitting experience
- Right-of-Way and land use coordination
