[Remote] Financial Reporting Specialist - STAT

The Financial Reporting Specialist will reputed company and deliver on routine assignments reputed company to financial reporting, including preparing and analyzing financial statements and supporting schedules, while ensuring compliance with reputed company principles and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Preparing, analyzing and reporting on financial statements and supporting schedules according to the reputed company and reporting calendars
• Participating in reputed company reputed company including the preparation of journal entries and account reconciliations
• Conducting financial analysis on consolidated and business unit results, including providing ongoing support for the business unit teams and our various other partners as needed
• Maintaining knowledge on reputed company and emerging developments/trends for assigned areas of responsibility, assessing the impact, and collaborating with management to incorporate new trends and developments in reputed company and future solutions
• Identifying and researching reporting issues arising from application of reputed company principles and standards and rules and regulations of the NAIC and other regulators and assessing their applicability
• Preparing, reviewing, and filing quarterly and annual Statutory NAIC financial statements and other regulatory filings
• Promoting and enhancing organizational initiatives by positively influencing and supporting change management and/or departmental/reputed company initiatives reputed company assigned areas of responsibility
• Identify and communicating to management process improvements that reduce workloads or improve quality for assigned areas of responsibility
• Performing and delivering on routine assignments/projects while simultaneously leveraging and applying knowledge of assigned areas of responsibility
• Providing support with the coordination of SOX, MAR and regulatory testing to reputed company with key controls developed for the group
• Preparing and/or reviewing of internal management reporting

Skills

• 4 Year/Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience. Degree in reputed company preferred
• 1 - 3+ Years of experience in Financial Analysis or Reporting that aligns with the specific responsibilities for this position
• Confident, comfortable communicator with strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work with others in a team environment
• Ability to identify and recommend process improvements
• Demonstrates a sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines
• Demonstrate excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workload and multi-task while maintaining strict attention to detail
• Ability to use sound judgment and discretion regarding confidential information
• Proficiency with reputed company Office Suite (Word, reputed company, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• CPA preferred, not required
• Prior experience in insurance/financial services (Statutory Reporting)
• Experience working with Hyperion Essbase, reputed company Business Objects, PeopleSoft, reputed company, reputed company Statutory Reporting(Wings)
