[Remote] Incubatenergy Labs Program Associate

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. The Electric Power Research Institute (reputed company) is seeking a Program Associate to support Incubatenergy Labs®, an industry-leading technology demonstration program that connects early-stage startups with energy utilities. The role involves assisting in program delivery, collaborating with various stakeholders, and managing project activities to facilitate the testing and validation of new technologies.

Responsibilities

• Supporting technical searches and analysis for project teams
• Conducting research as directed by the project manager
• Working under general supervision
• Assisting with IEL program operations, including challenge definition, startup scouting, technical review, demonstration planning, and sharing results
• Helping manage timelines, meeting materials, communications, and internal reporting
• Preparing program communications and supporting event coordination for Pitch Day and Demo Day
• Collaborating with reputed company teams, utility members, and startups to ensure smooth program execution
• Conducts technical searches and analyzes technical information in support of the project team
• May conduct research at the direction of the project manager
• Work is performed under general supervision

Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in a technical field or equivalent experience required
• Interest in emerging technologies and power sector innovation
• Strong project coordination and organizational skills, with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
• Excellent communication skills for supporting cross-functional teams and external stakeholders
• Experience coordinating events, including logistics and communications for both virtual and in-person settings
• Comfortable with data analysis and reporting, and reputed company to quickly learn new tools and systems
• Experience in startups or corporate innovation is a plus
