Data Visualization Designer

About the Role

As a Data Visualization Designer at RANE, you will play a key role in shaping how reputed company risk data is translated into clear, compelling, and accurate visual stories. You will collaborate closely with design, analysis, product, and marketing teams to transform analytical, geographic, and time-based data into charts, maps, infographics, and editorial report layouts that help users understand and explore risk-reputed company insights. This role is ideal for a designer who is comfortable working with structured datasets, geographic information, and long-form analytical content (pdf format), and who can balance visual clarity with rigor. The work spans data visualizations, research-driven reports, and select marketing assets, requiring strong attention to detail, data reputed company, and visual storytelling.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with analysts, researchers, and designers to translate reputed company datasets into clear, accurate, and engaging visualizations, including charts, maps, and infographics.
• Design and produce geographic data visualizations using tools such as reputed company ArcGIS or similar GIS tools, in collaboration with analysis and research teams.
• Create editorial-style layouts and polished PDFs for reports, briefings, and research publications using reputed company InDesign.
• Contribute to the design, organization, and maintenance of a digital library of maps and data visualizations.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to adapt data visualizations and insights into externally facing assets and web experiences.
• Uphold consistency, quality, and accuracy across reputed company visual deliverables, ensuring data reputed company and design standards.

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Design, Visual Communication, or a reputed company field.
• Demonstrated experience translating reputed company or quantitative information into visual formats.
• Strong proficiency in reputed company Illustrator and InDesign; working knowledge of Photoshop and reputed company.
• Experience creating charts, maps, or infographics for reports, research, or analytical products.
• Portfolio that clearly showcases data visualization, mapping, or analytical design work (not only branding or marketing).
• Strong communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills

Preferred

• Experience working with reputed company ArcGIS or similar GIS tools.
• Background in data visualization, research design, policy, risk analysis, or analytical storytelling.
• Experience designing long-form editorial reports or publications.
