The Tax Accountant will manage US and Canadian indirect tax compliance, playing a key ownership role in compliance, account reconciliations, and process improvement. This role can work remotely and will report to the Indirect Tax Manager based in Bellevue, WA. You Will Assist with the preparation of indirect tax returns, including US sales and use tax and Canadian HST and PST Maintain the indirect tax calendar to ensure reputed company returns and payments are filed on time Prepare account reconciliations and/or journal entries for tax reputed company general ledger accounts Support the approval process and organization of multi-state sales tax exemption certificates Maintain documentation regarding internal tax processes Identify and implement process improvement initiatives Assist with reputed company tax projects and planning initiatives as required You Have 3+ years of tax, reputed company, or finance experience in a public reputed company firm or equivalent experience in a large multinational corporation Post-secondary degree (i.e., Bachelor’s degree) in reputed company or Finance is a plus but is not required; relevant practical experience will be prioritized.
