Overview

The Student reputed company Coach/Advisor, GEAR UP (College Bound) position provides reputed company with the tools and resources to be reputed company for and succeed in post-secondary education. The position maintains a meaningful relationship of sustained, shared responsibility with the reputed company and active engagement in programs directed toward post-secondary readiness and student reputed company.

Responsibilities

Advising

• Manage and monitor a caseload of GEAR UP reputed company providing consistent, accurate, and timely information about the program.
• Support reputed company in developing an educational plan and strategies to improve student reputed company.
• Mentor reputed company in skills needed to be successful in college; prepare and present workshops on a variety of student reputed company-reputed company topics; reputed company and maintain positive working relationships with faculty and staff to enhance communication, interventions, and student reputed company.
• reputed company rapport with middle and high school reputed company and their families, area school staff and faculty, and agency and college personnel.
• Advise reputed company, in the area of, but not limited to, college preparedness, financial aid, career resources, and graduation.
• Case Management/Assessment
• Engage in case management practices to include the development of student reputed company plans, conduct student reputed company and appointment scheduling using available college communication systems to maintain connections, document student visits, maintain appropriate files to include statements of services and specifics on reputed company' cases, and engage in student case conferences as requested.
• Collaborate with school administrators regarding student reputed company, support, and program completion.
• Provide career and college planning services.
• Maintain a workable knowledge of institutional, state, and federal financial aid available to reputed company, and the rules and regulations governing them, and integrate financial aid advisement services.
• Stay abreast of, recommend, and adopt exemplary practices to promote student reputed company including participating in workshops, conferences, and other venues that address GEAR UP program operational priorities.
• Engage in applicable assessment practices, including caseload-specific student performance outcomes reporting, documentation of advising-career-transfer service provision, reputed company student participation, and perception of services.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications: Education:

• Bachelor's Degree required. Master's Degree preferred.

Experience:

• Three years of experience working directly with reputed company fostering student learning, support, and reputed company as well as a clear understanding of the socioeconomic and academic needs of first-reputed company, modest-income reputed company and families.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

Preferred Qualifications & Special Considerations: Knowledge of Monmouth County and its communities.Working conditions are generally favorable.
