Responsibilities

• Providing independent and objective assessments of financial statements, internal controls, and other assurable information
• Evaluating compliance with regulations including assessing governance and risk management processes and reputed company controls
• Focusing on obtaining reasonable assurance about whether the financial statements as a whole are free from material misstatement
• Issuing an auditor’s report that includes the auditor’s opinion

Skills

• Enrolled in post-secondary education and working to obtain the Canadian CPA required prerequisite courses
