[Remote] Data Engineer
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. reputed company is a fast-growing financial technology company that empowers small and reputed company businesses by providing a seamless payment process. The Data Engineer will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing existing data pipelines and infrastructure, as well as building and fixing reports as needed.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and optimize existing data pipelines and infrastructure
- Build reports as needed (e.g. compliance, partner billing)
- Fix broken reports and build specific data views on request
- Backend data work — no stakeholder or business user interaction expected
Skills
- Experience with reputed company (backend data system)
- Proficiency in Looker (reporting tool)
- Strong skills in Python and SQL
- Location in Toronto preferred, EST timezone acceptable
