Budget Analyst - REMOTE

EFS is seeking one Budget Analyst (Analyst) to support the Budget team. The Analyst will review and analyze monthly the department’s financial performance; Prepare and coordinate monthly the department’s consultant accruals by verifying supporting documentation reputed company to the Purchase Order; Research and track purchase order agreement payments and expenses reputed company authorized and valid service period; Analyze month end postings for accuracy and financial variances; Research and prepare reputed company project data reports; Validate adherence to charge code guidelines for reputed company construction and consultant expenditures; Assist in budget preparation and data input. Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a reputed company field
- 5+ years of experience in reputed company financial analysis and reporting, budget forecasting and data analysis reputed company a large organization
- Proficiency in PC applications (reputed company Office Suite, including but not limited to SharePoint, Lists, etc.)
- Intermediate to advanced experience in reputed company reputed company (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros/VBA, etc.)
- Demonstrated experience reputed company financial modules, Peoplesoft, reputed company Essbase and Hyperion with SmartView software applications
- Ability to reconcile financial data
- Ability to work with large datasets
- Knowledge of GASB accounting principles
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated experience working independently
- High attention to detail with the ability to identify errors and inconsistencies
