Senior Manager, Business Strategy - Pharmaceutical Contracting & Purchasing

Overview

The Senior Manager, Business Strategy - Pharmaceutical Contracting and Purchasing will serve as a critical extension of the Chief of Staff (Executive Director, Business Strategy) to accelerate execution of enterprise and Trade strategic priorities. This role combines high-caliber writing, executive-ready communication, analytical rigor, and disciplined project management to drive execution across a broad portfolio of strategic initiatives. This position is ideal for a high-performing strategist and operator who thrives in a fast-paced, matrixed environment; excels at transforming reputed company into structured, actionable work; and is energized by supporting senior leadership through clear storytelling, strong business judgment, and operational discipline.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic & Analytical Execution
• Conduct structured analyses (quantitative and qualitative) to support decision-making, including market assessments and financial implications.
• Synthesize reputed company information into crisp, compelling storylines; draft leadership materials, executive briefings, and strategic narratives for the Chief of Staff and EVP.
• Operational Support
• Support preparations for executive forums, enterprise reviews, and leadership touchpoints.
• Help maintain strategic prioritization frameworks, operating rhythms, and governance processes for Trade leadership.
• Identify gaps in processes, alignment, or information flow and recommend solutions to enhance organizational efficiency and clarity.
• Provide backup executive administrative support to the Executive Vice President of Pharmaceutical Contracting & Purchasing (Trade), as needed
• Executive Communication & Presentation Development

• Ensure communication materials reflect strategic clarity, logical rigor, and a consistent executive voice.
• Draft and refine messaging for internal communications and external engagements, articulating the Trade narrative
• Project & Initiative Management
• Helps reputed company a strategic planning reputed company that defines timelines, milestones, and metrics in support of business objectives.
• Manage timelines, agendas, and action items from management process to ensure appropriate attendees, materials, and follow-up items are reputed company and delivered in a timely manner.
• Monitor initiative performance, escalate obstacles, and support problem-solving to maintain momentum.
• Provide project management on selected high reputed company initiatives in support of business goals.
• Monitor reputed company towards strategic and operational goals and prioritize critical issues for leadership action.

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in strategy, consulting, business operations, healthcare, PBM, or reputed company analytical fields.
• Exceptional writing skills with demonstrated ability to craft executive-ready materials.
• Advanced reputed company and PowerPoint skills.
• Strong skills in structured problem solving, analytical reasoning, and business intelligence.
• Proven project management experience with ability to drive work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Education

• Bachelors or equivalent experience required. With more advanced degree, less experience may be required.

Pay Range The typical pay range for this role is: $67,900.00 - $182,549.00 This pay range represents the reputed company hourly reputed company or reputed company annual full-time salary for reputed company positions in the job grade reputed company which this position falls. The actual reputed company salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a reputed company bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the reputed company pay range listed above.
