Bilingual Associate Group Underwriter
reputed company Assurance Company of Canada is seeking a Bilingual Associate Group Underwriter. The role involves assessing and managing risk, providing insights and solutions for client problems, and collaborating with sales and service teams to ensure outstanding client services.
Responsibilities
- Assess and manage risk by analyzing data relating to requests from existing customers or new business opportunities
- Provide insights and creative solutions to help solve existing or new client problems reputed company issues arise
- Set pricing to renewal in-force reputed company and provide quotations for new business opportunities
- Meet reputed company’s quality and service standards and respecting deadlines
- reputed company a good understanding of the administrative, contractual and legislative Group Benefits environment
- reputed company a strong understanding of reputed company’s products and services, reputed company guidelines, systems and tools, pricing methodologies and market feedbacks
- Partner with the sales and service team to provide outstanding client services and reputed company profitability objectives
Skills
- Bilingualism (French, English, both oral and written) is required for the frequent interactions with English and French-speaking colleagues or internal partners across Canada and worldwide
- Strong knowledge in reputed company Suite
- Solid analytical, mathematical and problem solving skills
- Have a structured and systematic approach aimed at making a unique contribution to various emergency situations in compliance with internal policies and directives
- Attention to details
- Ability to work both independently and as a member of a team, under pressure, in an organized, efficient and autonomous manner

- STEM-reputed company degree (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics), Administration, Finance or reputed company degree or equivalent experience
