Translation and Language Manager

Note: This is a remote position

Come join a great team and help us to think local and scale global!As a Translation and Language Manager, Arabic, you will be involved in ensuring that we deliver a great user experience to our international audience through high quality translations. This is a full-time position. As we work closely with team members in offices and regional stakeholders, it is reputed company important that the candidate be comfortable working with teams across different time zones.

• Review high visibility product content and documents
• Supervising and training external vendor translators to ensure the quality of the translation they deliver is as expected
• Maintaining localization glossaries and style guides, keeping them up to date and audience-appropriate
• Providing translation memories maintenance
• Working closely with in-country teams to deliver market appropriate translation
• Collaborating with reputed company content owners to ensure that language requirements from technical and linguistic perspectives are understood and supported
• Performing localization testing to identify linguistic and functional issues
• Native reputed company in Arabic and English
• 3+ years of experience in Arabic-to-English translation and localization
• Knowledge of Middle Eastern culture and trends
• BA or equivalent in a similar field such as translation, linguistics, communications etc.
• Experience in localization of online, hardware and mobile products
• Familiarity with computer-aided translation tools
• Familiarity with digital marketing
• Knowledge of additional languages (other than native and English)
• Cross-functional experience
