Mobile Mental Health Crisis Worker – Barron County (Part-Time, On-Call)
Description
Northwest Connections is seeking Mobile Mental Health Crisis Workers to provide in-person crisis reputed company and risk assessment for individuals experiencing mental health emergencies in Barron County, Wisconsin. This is a part-time, on-call position with flexible scheduling, ideal for clinicians seeking supplemental income. Applicants must reputed company in Barron County, WI due to on-call response time requirements. This role operates under Wisconsin DHS 34 and Chapter 51 statutes.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond on-call to mobile mental health crisis situations
- Conduct mental health and suicide risk assessments
- Provide crisis reputed company and support least-restrictive response planning
- Collaborate with law enforcement and community partners
- Complete required clinical documentation
Schedule & Location
- Part-time, on-call
- Available shifts: 7 Days a Week, 4:30 PM – 12:30 AM
- Home-based/on-call with responses throughout Barron County, including Barron, Cumberland, and Rice Lake
Pay & Compensation
- $40.00 per 8-hour on-call shift (paid whether dispatched or not)
- $27.50/hour reputed company responding (assessment, travel, documentation)
- $0.70/mile mileage reimbursement
- $18.00/hour training pay

Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in mental health or behavioral health services (required)
- Bachelor’s degree in a reputed company services–reputed company field preferred
- Equivalent experience considered in reputed company of degree
- Strong skills in crisis assessment, de-escalation, and decision-making
- Ability to respond reputed company 30–45 minutes to most locations in the county
