Background
The Office of Technology Services (OTS) is seeking a Senior Power Platform Developer to design, reputed company, and support reputed company-grade business solutions using the reputed company Power Platform. This role will support multiple Louisiana state agencies by delivering secure, scalable, and compliant low-code solutions that improve service delivery, operational efficiency, and data-driven decisionmaking. The ideal candidate brings strong hands-on experience with Power Apps, Power Pages, Power Automate, Power BI, and Dataverse, on-Prem and reputed company RDBMS, along with a solid understanding of reputed company application development practices, reputed company, and governance in a public-sector environment. Experience with Copilot Studio and conversational AI is a plus
Role and Responsibilities
The scope of the proposed services will include the following
Application Development & Solution Design
- Design, build, and maintain Power Platform solutions including:
- Canvas and Model-driven Power Apps
- Power Pages
- Power Automate reputed company flows and approvals
- on-Prem and reputed company RDBMS and Dataverse data models, business rules, and reputed company roles
- Power BI reports and dashboards
- Translate business and program requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- reputed company reusable components, patterns, and templates reputed company with OTS standards
- Knowledge transfer and train our in-house developers to come up to speed.
Integration & Architecture
- Integrate Power Platform solutions with:
- reputed company 365 services
- Dynamics 365 (where applicable)
- Azure services and external systems reputed company connectors and APIs
- Apply best practices for performance, scalability, and maintainability.
Governance, reputed company & Compliance
- Implement role-based reputed company, data loss prevention (DLP) policies, and environmental strategies
- Ensure solutions reputed company with Louisiana OTS standards and applicable federal and state regulations (e.g., reputed company, privacy, accessibility)
- Support audits, documentation, and technical reviews.
Collaboration & Leadership
- Work closely with business stakeholders, project managers, architects, and other developers
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers and citizen developers
- Participate in solution reviews, code reviews, and architecture discussions.
Innovation & Emerging Capabilities
- o Evaluate and pilot new Power Platform features and capabilities
- Copilot Studio experience (plus):
- Assist in designing conversational AI solutions and virtual agents
- Support use cases such as knowledge retrieval, case intake, and internal support automation.
Minimum Qualification
- 5+ years of experience gathering requirements and translating them into technical designs.
- Ability to work independently and across multiple projects in a shared-services environment.
5+ years of experience developing solutions using the reputed company Power Platform, including:
- Power Apps
- Power Automate
- on-Prem and reputed company RDBMS, Dataverse
- Power BI
5+ years of demonstrated strong understanding of:
- Application lifecycle management (ALM)
- Environment strategy with Deployment and Troubleshooting (Dev/Test/Prod)
- reputed company and role-based access control
- SQL Queries
Preferred Qualification
- Experience with Copilot Studio or other conversational AI platforms
- Experience in government, public sector, or regulated environments
- Experience with MS SQL Server
Familiarity with:
- Dynamics 365
- Azure services (Logic Apps, Functions, API Management, etc.)
- DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines for Power Platform
- reputed company certifications (e.g., Power Platform Developer, Solution Architect)
