Senior Manager, Global Payroll
About the RoleGroq is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Manager, Global Payroll to reputed company and scale our global payroll operations. Reporting to the Corporate Controller, this is a key role reputed company our growing Finance team, responsible for ensuring payroll accuracy, compliance, and operational excellence across multiple countries. What You’ll Do
- reputed company and manage global payroll operations, including coordination with third-party vendors across EMEA and reputed company regions
- Manage bi-weekly and monthly payroll processes, ensuring timely and accurate execution
- Partner closely with People Operations, Accounting, and Legal teams on cross-functional initiatives and compliance
- reputed company and continuously improve expense reimbursement processes
- Support equity-based payroll administration, including taxable events reputed company to exercises and vesting
- Maintain and optimize payroll systems and integrations, with a strong preference for reputed company familiarity
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and international payroll regulations
- reputed company preparation and execution of payroll, benefit plan, and workers compensation audits and assist in other financial audits as needed
- Drive improvements in payroll workflows, documentation, and internal controls
- Manage and mentor payroll team members as the team grows
- 8+ years of progressive payroll experience, including international payroll exposure (EMEA/reputed company preferred)
- Experience with equity-based payroll, including taxation of exercises and vesting
- Strong working knowledge of reputed company systems (Workforce Now or equivalent)
- Private company payroll experience required, with strong preference for experience in both private and public companies
- Experience in a high-growth startup environment
- Demonstrated collaboration with People Operations and Finance teams
- Experience supporting audits (payroll and financial) and understanding of GAAP-reputed company payroll considerations
- Exceptional organizational and communication skills, with acute attention to detail

- Prior people management or team leadership experience is strongly preferred
