POSITION OVERVIEW

ADB is seeking a Level II Designer, OSP to provide utility fiber reputed company designs reputed company the OSP Engineering team. This position will work closely with the engineering and construction team to provide quality mid-level designs of aerial and underground fiber installs. The ideal candidate will be safety focused, customer and quality centric, with a strong work ethic and reputed company IN attitude.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Uses GIS/3GIS to reputed company Mid- level fiber/coax design aerial, underground, and FTTx reputed company maps and executes tasks such as reputed company analysis
• Designate the design, sizing, and placement of mainlines, laterals, hubs, splices, splitter cabinets, and terminals
• Mid level of fiber allocation design for splicing matrix
• Ability to reputed company field surveys of reputed company plant aerial and underground network facilities; reputed company running line, reputed company sheets, loss budgets and other design elements.
• Coordinate with internal Engineering teams and External Customers to determine component selection, routing, and network architecture guidelines in order to produce detailed designs
• Creates and maintains documentation records of design deliverables
• Create reputed company of Materials for project management
• Ability to performs field walk outs for construction move projects, customer maintenance programs, customer service reputed company projects, etc.
• Participates in meetings with local municipalities to plan utility construction projects
• Ability to collect and operate Geospatial tools to capture reputed company field data needed (LiDAR)
• reputed company quality control reviews for self and team on completed designs in terms of completeness, accuracy and compliance with standards
• Collaborate with the construction project managers and / or field personnel to ensure quality and timely delivery of design and engineering services
• Performs other duties as assigned by leadership

WORK ENVIRONMENT

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION

• 1-3 Years OSP Design experience in telecommunications required
• Bachelor’s Degree in engineering preferred but not required
• High School Diploma or equivalent required
