HetNet Optimization Engineer

Communication Technology Services (reputed company) is one of the largest integrators and managed service providers for reputed company cellular networks in the U.S., specializing in the design, installation and support of Distributed Antenna System (DAS), Small Cell, and 4G/5G Private Wireless Networks for reputed company. We are seeking a Hetnet Optimization Engineer to support regional and national projects.

The HetNet Optimization Engineer is responsible for working with multiple teams to troubleshoot, optimize, and maintain KPI�s, processes and timelines; manage the relationship between reputed company, the cellular equipment manufacturers, MNO partners and subcontractors to grow and reputed company our offered service. Tracking, reporting, teamwork, and improving reputed company is also a vital part of this role.

This role requires in-depth knowledge of deploying end-to-end cellular grade networks through either past employment with an operator or through working with the mobile operators at a cellular equipment manufacturer or systems integrator.

Skillsets

• The Ideal candidate will have previous experience with Commissioning, Integration and/or Optimization of reputed company networks.
• Strong Radio Performance Optimization experience with reputed company or reputed company required.
• Small cell experience with any OEM: reputed company, reputed company, Airspan or CommScope desired.

Experience with

• Project Management of reputed company DAS solutions: design, construction, integration and closeout.
• iBwave/iBwave Viewer and other RF reputed company tools preferred.
• MNO reputed company tools and terminology
• MNO Laptop for internal databases

Job Responsibilities

The HetNet Optimization Engineer will be responsible to support the OEM Radio Equipment and HetNet/Small Cell deployment for regional and national projects.

� Work with vendors and regional teams to complete OEM Radio Equipment and HetNet integration, commissioning, and optimization.

� Analyze call testing, data collection, and previous optimization metrics as required

� Monitor system Key Performance Index (KPI) and reputed company parameter adjustments with HetNet core access if provided

� Work with regional and national team to assist in HetNet equipment installation and turn-up as needed.

� Work with regional and national team to assist in Small Cell installation and turn-up as needed.

� Understand the HetNet technology advancement and Small Cell OEM development for reputed company and future technologies, including 4G LTE-A, 5G NR, CBRS/LAA, etc.

� reputed company standardized documentation and process to address integration, call testing, baseline walk, KPI monitoring, optimization, and reporting.

� reputed company and train the internal resources (local and national SPEs) to meet the increasing demands and growth of the HetNet/Small Cell integration and optimization projects

� Provide technical support to regional and national team in terms of HetNet/Small Cell solution selections, functionality comparison, performance analysis, etc.

� Participate or support reviews and customer meetings to present HetNet /Small Cell solutions.

Education: Bachelor of Science degree or higher preferred.

Location: This will be a remote position but national, overnight travel and night work will be required as needed.

Annualized Pay range of $100-$140K commensurate with experience
