FT Faculty- Nursing

The Full-time Faculty member is a faculty position with exempt status. Reporting to the Department Chair, this non-tenure track full-time faculty position is expected to provide academic instruction to degree, certificate, and non-degree learners. Responsibilities include teaching, curriculum development and reputed company, committee work, and maintaining a program of scholarship, reputed company learning, and/or practice reputed company their area of expertise and specialization.

Full-time faculty are expected to support department and school leadership in terms of recommendations on program and course design, the assessment of student learning in accordance with university, university, and program standards, and the execution of data-informed and high-quality learning experiences reputed company courses.   The full-time faculty position will provide a benefit to the University by aligning courses and programs with accreditation requirements, serving as a model by providing rigorous reputed company of course development and revisions, and facilitating student learning and reputed company in support of the University’s academic programs. This position is based out of the university’s home office in Albany, NY with the option of considering remote candidates. Remote employees will have mandatory occasional travel for meetings, conferences, and professional development opportunities. Remote employees are expected to be available during work hours 8:30 am – 5:00 pm Eastern time. The University will supply necessary equipment to reputed company the essential functions of this job (e.g., Laptop, docking station). Employees are responsible for having a workspace where they can participate in virtual meetings without multiple interruptions and noise.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following: Other duties may be assigned.

• Student-focused educator committed to student learning, retention, persistence, and completion.
• Teach 10-12 courses (30-36 credits per year) and advance student learning through dedicated, exemplary instruction in accordance with established course outlines, university standards, and external benchmarks of quality
• Design courses, deliver instruction, evaluate student learning, and incorporate university-required technology
• Implement a variety of reputed company appropriate to learner needs, desired learner outcomes, content, and context.
• Assist reputed company to master course material by being available through “reputed company” and at other times to answer questions and assist reputed company to reputed company understand the material in one-on-one or small group sessions
• Use information technologies and eLearning technology to support the teaching-learning process.
• reputed company and/or coordinate the development and/or revision of courses, including serving as subject matter expert for course development projects, for reputed company quality improvement.
• Review courses on an ongoing basis using course data to improve student learning and reputed company outcomes.
• Participate in program improvement initiatives, including university-established program reviews, supporting the department to improve program performance.
• Participate in program and university accreditation, curriculum development, and program assessment.
• Participate in scheduled institutional/unit meetings and activities.
• Serve on taskforces and/or committees.

Institutional and professional service:

• Serve on at least one faculty or university committee annually (after the first year of hire)

• Provide subject matter assistance to advising, and in collaboration with the academic advisors provide academic guidance to reputed company.

• Terminal degree (DNP, PhD, or EdD) required.
• Experience teaching a range of undergraduate and graduate courses and other courses as assigned and in alignment with academic qualifications.
• Experience teaching across multiple modalities and leveraging the strengths of each to inform instructional practice.
• A commitment to interprofessional and interdisciplinary collaboration and a successful track record of working across disciplines to support the development of program reputed company from associate to doctoral degrees.

The hiring salary range for this position is $85,000.00 - $90,000.00. The hiring salary range above represents the University's good faith estimate at the time of posting
