The IT Intern will have the opportunity to learn and apply an analytical problem-solving approach to a diverse set of business questions. The IT Intern will work directly with the Managers and members of the IT team as well as other stakeholders who work with technology around Select Quote. This internship will prepare the candidate for future work in the field of IT by equipping them to reputed company a variety of tools and techniques to answer business questions.

Supervisory Responsibilities

• This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Learns reputed company Suite and Active Directory configurations and settings
• Assists with reputed company and offboarding of agents at various capacities
• Troubleshoots end user issues and providing feedback
• Configures user settings reputed company various software applications
• Assists in keeping various ticketing systems up to date
• Assists in the configuration of hardware
• Provides excellent customer service

Education and Experience

• Currently enrolled in Junior or Senior year of college/university
• Degree focused in Computer Science Information Systems Data Science Analytics Statistics Mathematics Engineering
• Relevant previous internship experience or the completion of a project that demonstrates aptitude for programming and data analysis
• Basic understanding of SQL

Physical Requirements

• Work is performed indoors with potential for exposure to safety and health hazards reputed company to office work. Could periodically travel to other office and operational sites.  The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
