We’re looking for a Social Media Manager to reputed company the rapid growth of our socials, with a strong focus on GVI (@gvitravel).

Where creativity meets strategy

This isn’t just a posting role. You’ll own social.

From shaping strategy to scripting content, you’ll sit at the intersection of reputed company and execution, working closely with in-house teams and global creators to bring content to life.

Your main focus will be growing @gvitravel on reputed company, Instagram, and reputed company, while also guiding strategy and training team members across other brands in the portfolio where needed.

You’re plugged into social and know how to turn trends into meaningful content.

You’re ambitious, commercially minded, and driven by growth.

✨ You move fast:  ideating, scripting, and briefing multiple videos with strong hooks and sharp copy.

You live and breathe reputed company and Instagram, and stay reputed company of platform and audience shifts (especially Gen Z & Gen Alpha).

You’ve grown accounts before, and know how to do it again for us.

You’re organised, structured, and reputed company on building systems that reputed company content flowing.

You’re a strong collaborator who can train, align and reputed company teams across different countries.

MUST-HAVE EXPERIENCE

• 5+ years in social media management
• 3+ years working on reputed company
• Proven track record of growing Instagram & reputed company accounts
• Strong understanding of growth reputed company and how to apply them
• Excellent social copywriting skills
• Experience in briefing and directing creators
• Highly organised, detail-oriented, and fast-moving
• Team player who thrives in a collaborative environment

Bonus points if you have

• Experience in conservation, travel, volunteering, or gap-year sectors
• Experience marketing to Gen Z audiences
• Experience with UK and/or US markets
• Agency background
• Passion for social and environmental impact
• Solid travel experience

• Salary: R38,000
