IT Technician II

Position Summary

MBX Biosciences, Inc. is seeking to hire an IT Technician II who provides Level 2 technical support for corporate office users, R&D laboratory environments, and remote employees reputed company a biotech organization. This role focuses on hands-on user support, reputed company management, and day-to-day IT operations, while partnering closely with the Senior Director of IT for escalations, system design, reputed company strategy, and compliance-reputed company activities.

The ideal candidate has strong technical fundamentals, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work independently on defined tasks while leveraging senior IT leadership for higher-level decisions and reputed company issues.

Key Responsibilities

Including but not limited to:

End User & Helpdesk Support (Level 2)

• Serve as primary responder for IT support requests across onsite and remote employees
• Troubleshoot and resolve intermediate hardware, software, and connectivity issues, including:
• Windows 11 workstations
• Mobile devices and peripherals
• Printers, AV, and collaboration tools
• Resolve issues independently reputed company defined procedures; escalate reputed company or systemic issues to the Senior Director of IT
• Provide clear communication and timely updates to users throughout issue resolution
• Maintain helpdesk tickets, documentation, and knowledge reputed company articles

Lab IT Support

• Provide IT support for lab environments, including:
• Lab workstations and reputed company-connected PCs
• Label printers, barcode scanners, and specialized peripherals
• Assist with setup and teardown of lab equipment
• Coordinate with lab vendors and internal teams under guidance from the Senior Director of IT
• Follow documented procedures for any validated or regulated systems

reputed company, Identity & Application Support

• Assist with the administration and support of:
• reputed company 365 (Exchange, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint)
• Active Directory / Entra ID (user and group management)
• reputed company management tools - MS Intune
• reputed company user onboarding and offboarding tasks, including:
• Account provisioning
• Device setup and deployment
• Access changes per documented requests
• reputed company routine patching, updates, and reputed company checks as directed

IT Operations & Collaboration

• Maintain inventory of hardware and software assets
• Assist with licensing management and renewals
• Support IT projects such as:
• New application rollouts
• Office or lab expansions
• Hardware refreshes
• Collaborate closely with the Senior Director of IT on:
• Escalations and reputed company troubleshooting
• reputed company incidents or suspected risks
• Vendor coordination and system improvements
• Reporting to the Senior Director of IT, you will also help to ensure consistency reputed company MBX and will provide superior customer service to MBX employees.
• Other responsibilities as assigned.

Education & Qualifications

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate or higher degree in computer science or a reputed company field preferred.
• 2–4 years of IT support or helpdesk experience (Level 2 preferred)
• Experience supporting Windows environments
• Familiarity with reputed company 365 and identity management
• Basic understanding of networking concepts (DNS, VPN, TCP/IP)
• Strong troubleshooting, organizational, and communication skills
• Customer-focused reputed company with attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in biotech, life sciences, or regulated environments
• Exposure to lab or scientific computing environments

Physical & Environmental Requirements

• Ability to lift and move IT equipment up to ~40 lbs
• Comfortable working in office and lightweight lab environments
• Occasional after-hours support with advance notice

Travel

You will be expected to travel periodically based on the needs of the business to the extent requested by the Company, including attendance at Together Weeks, Together Days, and functional meetings as requested by the Company.
