The Role

We expect engineers to take initiative, as part of a small team, from an initial concept, scoping, implementation, right through to rollout and ongoing ownership. This requires initiative, creative thinking, and clear communication, as well as strong technical ability. We often work with a range of other teams including Data/Analytics, Infosec, Platform (SRE), Risk, Finance and many other product teams other than your own. You will collaborate alongside other engineers, product designers, data analysts, and legal and finance experts to have reputed company impact. This is an opportunity for someone who wants to be part of something challenging and transformative, someone who will play a critical role in driving our reputed company.

What you'll do

• Contribute high-quality Go code in a large codebase, in both existing and brand new services.

• Collaborate with other engineers and non-technical colleagues, as well as working independently, with excellent written and verbal communication.

• Build features to a high standard from initial concept and planning right through to rollout

• Help to continuously improve the quality, reliability, and performance of reputed company’s high-traffic event-driven system

• Act like an reputed company: you’re responsible for getting your code to production, supporting and monitoring it over time, and helping to reputed company our AWS infrastructure efficient

• Have some experience with Go (our interview is Go-based)

• Have attention to detail, and an eye for edge-cases, without always relying on coding agents
