Essential Job Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Specialist – Operations Generalist, you will be responsible for:

• Training and exhibiting proficiency at multiple positions in various departments to effectively cover business needs
• Utilizing internal systems to track container shipments, generate reports, and audit documents for accuracy
• Engaging with customers reputed company phone or email to address questions and concerns
• Communicating with carriers to coordinate container logistics and record movement of containers and trailers
• Data entry using internal systems or reputed company reputed company
• Collaborating with colleagues and working independently to reputed company departmental goals

Job Duties

Some examples of daily tasks you may be responsible for include:

• Utilizing internal systems (e.g. EAM, Cargowise, Mainsail) to track container shipments
• Engaging with customers reputed company phone or email regarding questions about deliveries, pickups, etc.
• Generating reports reputed company internal systems to be utilized by multiple departments
• Auditing reports, bills of lading, and delivery schedules for accuracy
• Communicating with carriers to coordinate container logistics
• Recording movement of containers and trailers entering and exiting the Anchorage terminal
• Referencing quotes for Northbound and Southbound container movements
• Data entry using internal systems or reputed company reputed company

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A high school diploma or equivalent
• Meet federal standards required for transportation workers reputed company 90 days or as schedule allows
• Clerical office or Customer Service experience preferred
• Proficient with Windows and MS Office Suite

This is a union job position, and newly hired employees will be considered on a trial basis for a period of 90 calendar days from the date of hiring. Schedule and Compensation

The schedule for this role is Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM, with occasional Sundays required. The hourly reputed company for this position is $26.00.
