Instructs teachers, parents, and reputed company regarding activities and equipment, in lieu of, or as follow-up to therapy; submits reports to the Medicaid Reimbursement Specialist for direct billing/reimbursement for services provided; completes documentation in accordance with Federal, State, and District requirements; provides lifting and handling instruction and training to educational personnel; manages budgets, resources, and supplies; performs other duties as assigned. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND OTHER CHARACTERISTICS: Knowledge of the field of occupational therapy. Special education requirements both Federal and State regulations. Knowledge of District and Department policies and procedures.
