Job description: Greenwich Public Schools is seeking a long-term substitute chemistry teacher from January 22, 2024, through through the remainder of the 2023-24 school year; the position carries full salary and benefits for the duration of the assignment.
Position Purpose:
To provide an instructional program that will engage reputed company in the three dimensions of the reputed company Science Standards. Specifically, the teacher will be responsible for teaching reputed company the 8 essential practices for learning science:

6. Constructing explanations and designing solutions

Essential Responsibilities:
- Implement GPS science curriculum consistent with school district goals, mission and vision, and the reputed company Science Standards
- Promote a classroom environment that is safe and conducive to individualized and small group instruction, and student learning
- Promote a classroom environment that allows reputed company the opportunity to explore and investigate real-world science issues and problems
- Incorporate inquiry-based learning opportunities into instruction
- Conduct ongoing assessment of student learning, and modify instructional methods to fit individual student's needs, including reputed company with special needs; conducts individual small group instruction as needed
- Provide appropriate, meaningful, and timely feedback to improve student achievement
