Remote Frontend Developer, UI/UX Focus
Our client is seeking a talented and creative Remote Frontend Developer with a strong focus on UI/UX to join their innovative team. You will be responsible for translating user interface designs and wireframes into high-quality, responsive, and interactive web experiences. The ideal candidate possesses a keen eye for design aesthetics, a deep understanding of user experience principles, and mastery of modern frontend technologies. You will collaborate closely with designers, backend developers, and product managers to create intuitive and engaging user interfaces that meet both user needs and business objectives. This role requires a passion for clean code, performance optimization, and a commitment to delivering exceptional user experiences. Key responsibilities will include: Developing and implementing user-facing features using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js). Translating UI/UX design wireframes and mockups into functional, pixel-perfect web pages. Ensuring the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and optimizing them for performance and scalability. Building reusable code and libraries for future use. Implementing responsive design principles to ensure applications render seamlessly across various devices and screen sizes. Collaborating closely with backend developers to integrate frontend components with server-side logic. Conducting cross-browser and cross-device testing to ensure compatibility and optimal user experience. Identifying and resolving frontend bugs and performance issues. Staying up-to-date with the latest frontend technologies, design trends, and best practices. Participating in code reviews to maintain code quality and share knowledge with the team. Working with product managers to understand user needs and translate them into effective UI/UX solutions. Contributing to the overall architecture and technical direction of the frontend application. Implementing accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG) to ensure inclusivity. The qualified candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Design, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. A minimum of 3-5 years of professional frontend development experience is required. Proven expertise in HTML5, CSS3 (including preprocessors like SASS/LESS), and modern JavaScript (ES6+). Strong proficiency with at least one major JavaScript framework (React, Angular, or Vue.js) is essential. Experience with responsive design techniques and tools. Understanding of UI/UX principles and best practices. Familiarity with build tools (e.g., Webpack, Parcel) and version control systems (e.g., Git). Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and collaboration skills, essential for remote teamwork. Experience with state management libraries (e.g., Redux, Vuex) and UI component libraries is a plus. Knowledge of backend integration and RESTful APIs is beneficial.
