Technical Product Manager (Data) | + Equity | SaaS Startup
HUG are currently partnered with a well-funded, high-growth technology startup building data-driven infrastructure used by large enterprise customers. They are hiring a Senior Technical Product Manager (Data / Internal Products) to own critical internal systems that power their core product and analytics capabilities. The Role This is a highly technical IC Product Manager role focused on internal platforms and data systems rather than customer-facing features. You will own the roadmap and execution for data-heavy systems — including datasets, pipelines, and internal tools used by engineering, data, and analytics teams. This role sits close to the core of the business and involves working across multiple technical teams to drive complex, cross-functional initiatives. What You’ll Be Doing
- Own product strategy, roadmap, and delivery for internal data/platform systems
- Improve how data is ingested, structured, and utilised across the organisation
- Lead complex cross-functional initiatives across engineering, data, and analytics teams
- Translate technical and ambiguous requirements into clear product direction
- Manage prioritisation across multiple stakeholders
- Ensure internal systems scale effectively as the company grows
What They’re Looking For
- 5+ years experience in Product Management or similar (founder / technical operator also relevant)
- Strong technical background (engineering, data science, ML, analytics, or similar)
- Experience working on data-heavy or platform products
- Familiarity with data pipelines, large datasets, and modern data tooling
- Strong stakeholder management across technical teams
- Experience in startup or high-growth environments preferred
Nice to Have
- Experience owning internal tools or infrastructure products
- Background in highly data-driven or regulated environments
- Founder or entrepreneurial experience
Logistics
- Remote (US-based)
- $180k–$230k base + equity
- IC role reporting to Principal PM
