SmartCare (Streamline) EHR Consultant – Behavioral Health

Job Description

Our client is seeking an experienced consultant with hands-on expertise in the Streamline SmartCare EHR platform. This engagement is focused on improving medical and clinical workflows, documentation, and overall usability within SmartCare. The goal is to help stabilize how clinicians are using the system and ensure workflows are efficient and aligned with behavioral health operations. This is a SmartCare-specific role. Candidates must have direct experience working within the SmartCare platform.

Responsibilities

  • Review and improve medical and clinical workflows within SmartCare
  • Optimize documentation, templates, and forms used by providers
  • Identify inefficiencies and areas where workflows can be simplified
  • Work with clinical and IT stakeholders to improve system usage
  • Support providers and end users in navigating and using SmartCare effectively
  • Ensure documentation aligns with operational and compliance needs
  • Help address workflow-related issues within the system

Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience with Streamline SmartCare EHR (required)
  • Strong understanding of medical and behavioral health clinical workflows and documentation
  • Experience working directly with clinicians and end users
  • Ability to identify workflow gaps and improve usability
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • 5+ years of experience in healthcare IT or clinical systems (preferred)
