To be considered for this position, applicants must:
- Have extensive trauma training, either in EMDR, Brainspotting, CPT, IFS, ego-state, or other modality to be considered on an individual basis, OR have training in couples counseling (such as EFT, Gottman, or other modality).
- Hold an active non-restricted license to practice counseling in North Carolina. Provisionally licensed clinicians are welcome to apply. They must have their own supervisor, and references available. We are not able to offer supervision at this time.
- Have a dedicated private and secure space in which to hold sessions without interruption.
- Is actively anti-racist and aware of their intersections of oppression
- Is passionate about working with the LGBTQIA+ community
The ideal candidate is some who:
- Wants to be the best therapist for their clients
- Is dually licensed with an LCAS or LCASA
- Is a lifelong learner!
