We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Director of Nursing (DON) to lead our nursing teams in Minnesota and Wisconsin and support high-quality care for the individuals we serve. Position Summary

The Director of Nursing oversees nursing operations, supervises clinical staff, ensures regulatory compliance, and drives quality care initiatives across the market. This leader partners closely with interdisciplinary teams to improve health outcomes, enhance training, and support individuals in living their best lives. Prior experience in behavioral health is preferred.

 

Key Responsibilities

Lead and support nursing staff, including RNs and LPNs Ensure quality care standards, best practices, and compliance are maintained Monitor clinical data and implement performance improvement initiatives Support infection control, medication management, and continuity of care Collaborate with operations and training teams to strengthen services Participate in accreditation readiness and quality assurance efforts Provide coaching, guidance, and leadership to the nursing team  

Qualifications

Active RN license required 3+ years of nursing leadership or supervisory experience (preferably in behavioral health) Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills Experience with healthcare compliance, quality metrics, and team development Valid driver’s license required with clean driving record
