Our client is seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative to join their team on a temporary basis, with the potential for hire. About the Role

As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you'll play a vital role in providing exceptional support to customers via telephone and email. Under the guidance of the Customer Service Supervisor, you'll be responsible for responding to inquiries regarding COBRA and billing eligibility for insurance plans, as well as general questions about policies and payments. Your excellent communication skills, politeness, and professionalism will be essential in delivering a courteous and helpful experience to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle incoming calls and make outbound follow-ups as needed, updating phone status accordingly.

  • Navigate between multiple systems, including phone software, documentation tools, and online resources.
  • Keep clear and accurate records of calls and actions.

Work Environment and Schedule

As a fully remote position, you'll have the flexibility to work from the comfort of your own home. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:30AM-5:00PM, providing a stable and predictable work environment.

Compensation and Benefits

* Pay Rate: $16.29/hr (increases to $18.22/hr upon hire!)

  • Temporary position with a 6-month commitment
  • Potential for hire with arenaflex

Essential Qualifications

* 1+ year of customer service or call center experience

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Proficiency in navigating multiple systems and software
  • Ability to maintain accurate and detailed records
  • NYS residency required

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience in the medical or benefits industry

  • Knowledge of COBRA and billing eligibility for insurance plans
  • Familiarity with phone software and documentation tools
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
