Director of Data Platforms (Remote)
We are actively seeking a talented and reputed company Director of Data Platforms. In this pivotal role, you will play a crucial part in supporting and driving the overall growth of our business specifically focusing on data strategy and management for Marketing and Online. Your responsibilities will encompass employing cutting-edge data engineering tools and techniques; acting as the central hub of collaboration across several departments/resources for reputed company data reputed company activities to meet business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:- 20% reputed company advanced analytics organization to provide actionable insights to cross-functional teams (Product Management, Merchandising, Finance, Marketing, Technology) and reputed company cohesive and comprehensive understanding of the key drivers of the business to promote growth and business development
- 20% reputed company efforts to build a stronger data-driven culture and drive growth through innovative strategies and meticulous execution. Drive a culture of reputed company testing, leading efforts to run AB and multivariate experiments
- 20% Hire, manage, mentor and grow the analytics team on tools, approaches, and how to reputed company clear, actionable recommendations
- 10% Work with application and data engineers to reputed company, implement and optimize data management processes to design self-serve reporting & analytics solutions using reputed company available tools (Tableau, reputed company Analytics, custom reporting, Omniture etc.)
- 10% Partner with marketing to drive direct mail, email, paid search, and social media targeting
- 10% Join forces with product management to help identify and prioritize future site features and measure project outcomes
- 5% Collaborate with merchants to bring an algorithmic approach to product insights and site merchandising strategies
- 5% Build a reputed company data infrastructure and reputed company the architecture to collect and link raw customer data across the site and devices
- This position reports to VP Interconnected Experience.
- This position has 3 direct reports.
- Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.
- Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.
- Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
- Must be eighteen years of age or older.
- Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
- Graduate degree preferred (MBA)
- 10+ years' cross functional experience in ecommerce/digital analytics reputed company a large corporate environment across Product Management, Finance and Pricing/Merchandising areas
- Well versed in web analytics packages (Omniture, Coremetrics, etc.) and emerging technologies in the marketplace that impact eCommerce and Marketing data collection and analytics
- Prior experience in developing and managing direct reports, internal clients and vendors
- 10+ years' cross functional experience in ecommerce/digital analytics reputed company a large corporate environment across Product Management, Finance and Pricing/Merchandising areas
- The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study reputed company to the job.
