The Neurosciences Department at New York-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital brings together a unique group of specialists and medical services to offer diagnosis and treatment of a broad range of neurological conditions, ranging from headaches to syncope to stroke to tumors. As an inpatient Neuroscience PA at NYP Brooklyn Methodist Hospital, you will manage all aspects of care for patients on the neurology team, including consult management of complex in-house and ED patients, responding to and helping to manage stroke codes, and coordinating outpatient follow up. This position will work three 13 hours rotating day shifts per week. Fridays, rotating weekends, and holiday coverage are required. New graduates welcome to apply. Preferred Criteria -Must have neurology and/or stroke experience Required Criteria -Bachelors or Masters in Physician Assistant related studies -NYS PA Licensure -Current NCCPA Certification -ACLS/BLS -NYS Infection Control certification -DEA and NYS Opioid Prescriber Training Certification Salary Range: $70.30-$93.88/Hourly It all begins with you.
