Work from home Full-time role Hiring

Job Description:

Provide virtual services to K-12 students enrolled in Connections Academy virtual schools
Connect with students using webcams and web conferencing software
Provide counseling sessions, evaluations, and social work support for students
Offer individual and group counseling to students dealing with emotional, behavioral, or social issues
Evaluate students' needs and develop personalized intervention plans
Respond to and manage crises, such as bullying or family problems
Work with families to address issues affecting the student’s school experience and connect them with community resources
Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other professionals to develop and implement strategies for student success
Advocate for students’ needs within the school and community
Provide workshops and training for students, staff, and families on relevant topics
Maintain accurate records of interactions, progress, and interventions

Requirements:

LCSW, LMSW, LICSW, LPC or DOE School Counselor License
2+ years' experience in K-12 school setting
Strong technology skills
High degree of flexibility and ability to work independently
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
Preference for those who are licensed in: Michigan, Colorado, Minnesota, North Carolina, South Carolina, Pennsylvania, Kansas, Ohio, Texas, Maine
