Department: Field Underwriting Job Description: As a Nonprofit Human Services Underwriter, you will be responsible for analyzing, appraising and assessing exposures and acceptable risks for our Nonprofit Human Service Organizations, Education Institutions and Religious Organizations to determine coverages and premium that are both adequate and competitive. Accounts vary in size, but may include accounts up to $250,000 in written premium. Work Arrangement:

  • Employees who live within 30 miles of the TMG home office are expected to follow a hybrid or in-office schedule. The initial training period may require additional in‑office days.

Responsibilities:

  • Delivers profitable outcomes on less complex niche business through effective risk selection by:
  • Accountable for achieving key performance indicators of the portfolio including:
  • Cultivate a High Performing Culture

Qualifications:

  • 1+ years commercial underwriting experience is required.
  • Prior experience in underwriting nonprofit human services and/or accounts preferred.
  • Working to obtain or has already CPCU or other industry equivalent preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills both in writing and verbal.
  • Ability to analyze and make decision in a timely manner.
  • Position requires employee to constantly operate a computer and other office equipment.

Pay Range: Anticipated Hiring Range:

  • $67,500 - $100,000 annual base salary depending on experience, qualifications, and geographic location
  • $77,450- $110,000 annual base salary depending on experience, qualifications, and geographic location in CA, CT, MA, NJ, NY, and PA
