JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY Greystar is the largest operator of apartments in the United States and a globally recognized real estate investment manager. As our business scales across markets and legal structures, the systems that manage our legal entity ecosystem have become mission-critical infrastructure. This role sits at the intersection of legal operations, technology, and product ownership — and is central to how our corporate legal, investment, accounting, and operations teams get work done every day. We are looking for a Product Manager who brings both a real estate legal background and a technology mindset. You will be the primary owner of our Diligent legal entity management platform and iManage document management system, responsible not just for keeping them running but for making them better. You will work closely with engineering teams on integrations, support cross-functional stakeholders, and help shape how these platforms evolve over time. JOB DESCRIPTION WHAT YOU'LL DO Own day-to-day platform administration, configuration, and user management for Diligent and iManage, ensuring both systems are reliable, well-governed, and aligned to business needs. Act as the primary product owner for the legal entity management ecosystem — gathering requirements, identifying improvement opportunities, prioritizing enhancements, and driving adoption across teams. Partner with engineering teams on integrations between Diligent, iManage, and peripheral systems including Oracle, OneStream, and others — owning requirements definition, testing, exception monitoring, and issue identification and escalation. Monitor integration health and data quality, identify anomalies or failures in exception reporting, diagnose root causes, and communicate clearly with engineering on resolution path and priority. Develop a deep understanding of legal entity data flows — how entities are created, structured, documented, and connected across systems — and use that understanding to identify gaps and drive improvements. Work closely with legal, investment, accounting, treasury, and operations stakeholders to understand workflow pain points and translate them into platform enhancements and process improvements. Maintain platform documentation, governance standards, and user training materials to ensure consistent and compliant usage across teams. Support onboarding of new legal entities, ensuring accurate and timely data entry, document loading, and downstream synchronization across connected systems. Contribute to roadmap planning by surfacing user feedback, tracking platform gaps, and helping prioritize initiatives against business impact. Stay current on Diligent and iManage product updates, evaluate new capabilities, and make recommendations on adoption where relevant. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR 5+ years of experience in a systems analyst, product owner, legal operations, or technology role within a real estate, investment management, or legal environment. Hands-on experience with legal entity management platforms — Diligent Entities or comparable systems strongly preferred. Experience with document management platforms — iManage or comparable systems preferred. Strong understanding of legal entity structures, corporate governance, and how entities, documents, and ownership data are managed in a large real estate or investment organization. Demonstrated ability to own a platform product end to end — not just administer it but improve it, advocate for it, and connect it to business outcomes. Comfortable working with integration data flows — you don't need to write the code, but you need to understand what data is moving, where it's going, what breaks when it doesn't, and how to communicate that to an engineering team clearly. Strong analytical skills — able to dig into exception reports, identify patterns, and surface actionable findings without being asked. Excellent written and verbal communication skills — you work with legal, finance, and technology stakeholders and need to translate effectively across all three. Organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment. Self-directed — you don't wait to be told what needs fixing. You find it, make the case, and drive it forward. NICE TO HAVE Familiarity with Power Platform, Power Automate, or Cognito Forms for workflow automation and data intake. Exposure to Oracle or OneStream in a financial or investment management context. Experience working in or alongside a corporate legal or corporate secretary function. Prior experience at a large real estate investment manager, REIT, or private equity real estate firm. The salary range for this position is $145,000 - $155,000 USD Annually. #LI-BB1 #LI-Remote Additional Compensation: Many factors go into determining employee pay within the posted range including business requirements, prior experience, current skills and geographical location.
