Remote Event Planner

About the position This position involves coordinating virtual events and ensuring that all aspects are meticulously planned and executed. You will work closely with various teams to create engaging experiences for participants.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, execute, and manage a variety of online events.
  • Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to define event goals and objectives.
  • Oversee the logistics of virtual platforms, including setup and troubleshooting.
  • Manage event budgets and ensure financial objectives are met.
  • Collect and analyse feedback to improve future events.
  • Maintain relationships with vendors and partners.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in event planning, preferably in a remote capacity.
  • Strong organisational and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Familiarity with virtual event platforms and tools.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with marketing and promotion of events.
  • Knowledge of budget management and financial reporting.
  • Creative problem-solving skills.
