Front-End Web Developer

You.com is building the AI Search Infrastructure that powers modern AI systems, aiming to create a trusted knowledge layer for real-time information retrieval. They are seeking a talented Front-End Web Developer to design and maintain user-friendly websites that align with brand goals, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality web experiences.

Responsibilities

• Design and build responsive, visually appealing websites and landing pages using Webflow, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Collaborate with the Head of Web and Content to develop innovative designs that reflect brand guidelines and engage users
• Ensure designs and code are optimized for performance, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility
• Maintain and update existing websites, ensuring they remain modern, functional, and error-free
• Implement content updates in collaboration with the content team, ensuring consistency and brand alignment
• Work closely with stakeholders to understand user needs and translate them into intuitive web experiences
• Conduct regular reviews and testing to optimize website performance and usability
• Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code for custom Webflow components or integrations when necessary
• Collaborate with back-end developers when required to implement advanced functionality
• Work alongside the content, marketing, and design teams to ensure web projects meet deadlines and objectives
• Stay up-to-date with the latest front-end trends, tools, and technologies to continuously improve web development practices

Skills

• + 1-3 years of experience in front-end web development or a related field
• Proven experience designing and building websites in Webflow is required
• Proficiency in Webflow, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and Figma
• Familiarity with responsive design principles and best practices
• Basic understanding of SEO principles and website performance optimization
• Experience with version control systems like Git is a plus
• A strong eye for design with the ability to create visually compelling, user-focused web layouts
• Experience with design tools such as Adobe XD, MarkUp, or Sketch is an advantage
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving and time management abilities
• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new tools and technologies
