Project Engineer/Facility & Sort Systems (Multi Level)
Federal Express Corporation is a global leader in logistics and transportation services. They are seeking a Project Engineer to support engineering activities for sorting facilities and systems, focusing on maintenance-related equipment and problem analysis. The role involves project management and performing other assigned duties.
Responsibilities
- Supporting these activities will include maintenance related equipment and problem analysis/resolution
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Provides engineering activities for Memphis-corporate, regional sorting facilities and/or sort systems controlled by facilities management
- To Provide Activities To Include Maintenance Related Equipment Engineering, Problem Analysis/Resolution And Project Management
- Perform other duties as assigned
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline
- Good knowledge of design/ engineering/statistical analysis principles
- Strong analytical, human relations and communications skills
- Strong computer PC office and engineering applications skills
- Two (2) years related experience in commercial construction, contract negotiations, maintenance of electrical/mechanical systems, construction contract administration, estimating project management, scheduling administration and general business practice
- Five (5) Years Related Experience In Design, Implementation, And Maintenance Of High Volume Package Sort Equipment Or Other Industrial Environment
- Knowledge Of Design/ Engineering, Contract Administration, Technical Project Maintenance Techniques Of Material Handling, Hvar, And Electrical System
- Seven (7) years related experience in design, implementation, and maintenance of high volume package sort equipment or other industrial environment
- BS in Electrical Engineering is preferred for this role
