Geospatial Analyst
Imagine Believe Realize, LLC is an industry leader driven by innovation and a relentless pursuit of excellence. The Geospatial Analyst will be responsible for performing image processing tasks to generate accurate geospatial image products that meet customer requirements and deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Process digital satellite/image data to generate highly accurate geospatial image products that meet customer requirements
- Understand and utilize established image production processes
- Exercise good judgement regarding data quality and project criteria
- Deliver a high volume of products to meet customer requirements on a monthly basis
- Follow written and verbal directions, and work in a close team environment
- Perform related duties as assigned
Skills
- Must either currently possess or be able to obtain and maintain a secret clearance
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 1+ years GIS experience required
- Experience manipulating digital images
- Must have basic understanding of DMS and decimal coordinate systems
- Experience with remotely sensed data and image processing
- Computer competency in Windows environment. Familiarity with Linux or UNIX operating systems also helpful
- Experience manipulating digital images using Photoshop or other image enhancement software
- Practical knowledge of online map applications like Google Maps, etc
- Ability to understand latitude / longitude measurements in imagery
- Working knowledge of geospatial industry-standard geospatial software tools such as ArcGIS and QGIS
- Military mapping experience preferred but not necessary
