[Remote] Albanian Language Specialist - Freelance AI Trainer Project

The role involves evaluating translations, assessing grammar and fluency, and ensuring outputs reflect cultural context in Albanian language models.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate translations and assess grammar and fluency
- Analyze tone and meaning, and identify inaccuracies or unnatural phrasing
- Review region-specific variations, including standard Albanian and commonly used dialects
- Engage with the model in Albanian and English, reviewing generated text for linguistic accuracy
- Annotate errors and provide corrected versions
- Document patterns in model performance
- Evaluate how well the model handles formal versus informal registers, technical terminology, or culturally specific references
Skills
- Native or near-native fluency in Albanian
- Strong reading and writing proficiency in Albanian
- Clear written communication
- Ability to explain linguistic corrections and reasoning
- Background in linguistics
- Background in translation
- Background in language education
- Background in journalism
- Background in communications
- Related field experience
