[Remote] UKG Ready Payroll Consultant

Armanino is one of the top 20 largest accounting and consulting firms in the nation, seeking an experienced Solution Consultant – Payroll & Payroll Services (UKG Ready) to join their Ready Launch Services Team. The role involves leading clients through UKG Ready implementations and ensuring a seamless transition to post-launch support while guiding them through the full implementation lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Deliver Payroll implementation services using UKG Ready
- Collaborate with project managers and client teams to understand project goals and recommend tailored system configurations
- Analyze client business needs and recommend optimal UKG Ready setup in coordination with the Project Manager
- Guide clients through the design, configuration, testing, and deployment of UKG Ready functionalities
- Document system configurations and provide clear communication of recommendations to clients
- Manage multiple concurrent implementations and go-live transitions
- Prioritize tasks, manage timelines, and monitor progress to ensure successful project delivery
- Support clients during the handover to long-term vendor support
- Lead consulting sessions—both virtual and on-site—to train and guide client teams
- Participate in project meetings and provide timely updates on project milestones and deliverables
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge and certifications for UKG Ready and related modules
- Provide mentorship and support to other consultants within the team
- Meet or exceed company utilization targets
- Perform additional duties as assigned by leadership
Skills
- UKG Ready Core Payroll certification preferred; however, we are open to considering strong candidates who are willing to obtain certification
- Minimum 1 year of experience in UKG Ready implementation or activation
- Background in consulting or professional services
- Ability to multitask under tight deadlines and manage competing priorities effectively
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365 and common project management and video conferencing tools
- Highly dependable with a proactive, self-directed work ethic
- Strong commitment to professional standards and quality outcomes
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills
- Team-oriented with a client-focused mindset
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a team or project leadership role
- Experience as a UKG Ready system administrator or with additional UKG Ready certifications
- HR or Payroll experience, preferably with industry certifications
- Business analysis or project management experience is a plus
