[Remote] Telecom Regulatory Compliance Specialist

They are seeking a Telecom Regulatory Compliance Specialist to prepare and submit regulatory compliance reports for telecommunications providers, ensuring timely and accurate filings that meet evolving regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned telecommunications clients regarding regulatory reporting
• Coordinate with clients to gather necessary reporting information and ensure timely submissions
• Analyze financial and operational data to prepare and submit compliance filings to the FCC, PUCs, and other regulatory agencies
• Maintain strong knowledge of industry regulatory changes and apply updates to compliance processes

Skills

• Combination of education and a minimum of 1 year of office experience in one or more of the following areas: Accounting, Telecom Regulatory Compliance, Taxes, Telecommunications, Utility Regulation
• Strong math, logic, and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word and Excel
• Strong time management skills and comfort with meeting strict deadlines
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
• Experience preparing and filing telecommunications regulatory reports is ideal
• Finance, Accounting, or Business degree is preferred
• 2+ years of professional experience with Excel is a plus
