Accounting Assistant
Premier Group Insurance is one of the largest and fastest growing independent insurance agencies in the US. As the Accounting Assistant, you will assist in processing insurance payments and provide support to Billing Specialists in various tasks related to insurance needs.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the accurate and timely processing of insurance payments and financing
- Assist the other Billing Specialists by responding to both phone and email inquiries
- Making necessary outbound communication
- Helping the Billing Specialists with a variety of insurance needs such as billing and payment services
- Providing necessary policy documents
- Processing policy change requests and account reviews
- Preparing insurance payments for processing
- Handling all aspects of aging reports
Skills
- Possess EZL knowledge
- Have worked in an insurance environment and understand the insurance terminologies
- Quick learner/coachable
- Be able to multi-task
- Possess good grammar and proofreading skills
- Keen attention to detail
- Ability to organize and manage time
